Company Principals & Community
Committed to leading by example, our company’s founders Jeff Burum and Matt Jordan, have set the pace for our company as industry and community leaders. In addition to his success and expertise in the private sector of land development and home building, Jeff is recognized as one of the nation’s foremost experts in affordable housing preservation. Jeff’s passion, however, is to help provide a leg up to struggling members of our community.
Jeff founded Hope Through Housing in 1991, an organization dedicated to providing programs for kids, adults and seniors. Hope’s mission stretches from quality day care to job training to just providing a safe nurturing environment for those in need. Jeff has been involved with Hope Through Housing since its inception. Today, it is successful in creating liaisons with other community-based nonprofit organizations to create a bridge between the services these organizations offer and the populations who benefit. In more than 38 low-income communities, Hope Through Housing has witnessed a visible improvement
in challenged neighborhoods and
a dramatic enhancement of individual lives. |
While operating a successful home building company would be enough for most, Matt Jordan is committed to the continuing improvement and growth of the building industry and he is a past President of the Baldy View chapter of the Building Industry Association. Committed to improving the lives of what is termed as “at risk families” in the Inland Empire, Matt is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Children’s Fund, a non-profit organization that is a public/private partnership helping at-risk children in the region. Matt was instrumental in building the organization into one of the most effective children's advocacy groups in the country.
Our goal is to give back to the cities and communities in which we build. We donate time, resources, and financial support to hospitals, libraries, youth sports, and other non-profit organizations throughout Southern California. Children’s Fund and Hope Through Housing are especially important charities to the company principals. As part of our mission to build strong communities Diversified Pacific is the sponsor of the Victoria Gardens Story Theatre for children at the Rancho Cucamonga Cultural Arts Center, which offers educational opportunities and entertainment programs.
