Management Team

The management team members are the long-term stewards of the Fund's real estate investments and are well qualified to manage our diversified portfolio. They monitor the overall performance, perform due diligence on prospective acquisitions, implement the long-term strategies, oversee operational performance and handle investor relations.

Each team member has served in the Diversified Pacific organization for over five years contributing to the company's success in the real estate development field.

  • PETER J. PITASSI, AIA, LEED AP - SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT 

  • Mr. Pitassi is a Partner and Sr. Vice President of Diversified Pacific Communities (DPC), a land developer and home builder
    in Rancho Cucamonga. In 2014 Peter joined his former clients and longtime friends, Jeff Burum and Matt Jordan, after
    retiring from active practice in his Architectural firm, Pitassi Architects, Inc. He has over 40 years of architectural design, entitlement, and land planning experience. During his 28 years of private practice he had the opportunity to provide high quality professional services to both public and private clients.

    Mr. Pitassi has designed a variety of residential project types including multi family, single family, and custom homes. In
    addition he has planned, managed, and entitled several Master Planned Communities which have included thousands
    of homes, community facilities, parks, and major retail centers. He has also designed a multitude of buildings for public, commercial, and institutional clients including public safety facilities, community centers, and libraries.

    At DPC, he envisions and manages the design, planning, and entitlement of all development ventures and home
    building communities.
  • PHIL BURUM - VICE PRESIDENT 

  • Mr. Burum joined Diversified Pacific in 2000 as a project manager overseeing the advance planning for the Company's communities. As Vice President of Forward Planning, he now leads the company’s efforts in land acquisitions & pre-development project management.His responsibilities include acquisition analyses, feasibility investigation, entitlement management, and strategic planning. Working closely with our team of professional consultants and agency officials, he is primarily responsible for locating and implementing our development opportunities.

    Mr. Burum's prior experience in real estate includes serving as project manager for the Colonies at San Antonio, a 440-acre master planned community in Upland, California, and later as Vice President of Colonies Crossroads, Inc. During his tenure with the Colonies community, he oversaw the entitlement and development of over 700 single family home sites, over 1,100,000 square feet of retail-commercial space, and supervised the completion of nearly $100,000,000 worth of infrastructure improvements.
